Aaytha Ezhuthu is such a pleasure to watch. Probably, one of the last Maniratnam& #39;s films that really worked with all its inconsistencies (especially, its wimpy political undertone).
Btw, Suriya as Micheal Vasanth, Woah. He was spectacular.

Micheal is a brilliant student, and also a social reformer. He apparently is a reflection of Hyd Osmania University& #39;s Che Guevara, George Reddy, who fought against the fundamentalist/feudal student forces who stood against the equality. Here, he& #39;s just against corrupted forces.
The most stunning aspect of Madhavan& #39;s portion is the powerhouse, Meera Jasmine. She singlehandedly holds the rowboat. Woah, what a performer, what a screen presence! Inba represents avarice. He is wild & has no peripheries. @ActorMadhavan is no less. Very Under-appreciated.

Clash of the Titans - A scene that worked cos of the aura behind the actors. The Hindi version had a zero impact on me. Madhavan& #39;s flamboyance and Suriya& #39;s intensity deserved a tweet, dude.
