#IHL provides for humane treatment without discrimination and contains rules requiring belligerents to give due regard to gender-specific needs. Today we must work for a protective interpretation of existing rules that considers #women reality and the risks they face in war (5/6)
#Humanitarian action in armed conflict must keep in mind the gendered impact of war and ensure that #women participate in shaping humanitarian programs, which will allow them to strengthen their positive coping mechanisms and get us closer to achieving a #FeministPeace. (6/6)
