I dont have time or energy to write an op-ed so here’s a brief thread on my thoughts for a Fall provincial election:

People are barely hanging on, families are anxious about C19 & kids in school who cant even have outdoor recess due to air quality.

We’re having to decide whether or not to risk travel to see loved ones or go without seeing them indefinitely, some cant leave home due to health concerns. Many have lost jobs w no prospects in sight facing major financial hardship or even homelesness. The overdose crisis ffs!

I get that capitalist systems are so fragile that no one wants to put the brakes on it again, even for the sake of saving human lives.

But listen up white men in charge: we’re not fine. If anyone tells you they’re fine, their $ & power is their only concern so ignore them.

So can y’all just give ppl a break on this. Im not partisan & I have no vested interest besides the well being of my loved ones & our communities cuz literally none of us are fine.

C’mon bruh, an election can wait.
