A thing I've realized is that the key to living good is to embrace cringe. Like, when you're at school, the teachers might make you do something cringy, like make up a name for your group, make a group chant, do a dance, sing aloud, stuff like that.
And sure, it's kind of cringe, but you know what? Does that really even matter? The answer is that no, it doesn't. It's fun to shout the chant in your group, and to have a dumb group nickname. It's fun to do that.
And you're gonna have a lot more fun in life if you recognize that, rather than attempt to be some serious idiot who doesn't like doing things like that.

One of my most memorable experiences I've had in school was last year, when we had a video project for school.
I don't remember the specifics much, we we're gonna make our own version of a book or film, something like that. My group choose The Lord of the Rings, and it was tons of fun, swinging a plastic sword, saying "omae wa mou shindeiru" and all that. It was really enjoyable.
And I wear my Gundam t-shirt to school, I have a Hanayo Koizumi folder, I watch anime on my laptop during lunch, whether it's Aikatsu Friends, Attack no. 1 or Nanatsu no Umi no Tico, and I'm all the more happy for it.
