Seeds (nuts, seeds, grains, legumes) are some of the most highly defended parts of plants. Peanuts, cashews, almonds, and even your beloved macadamia nuts do not love you back!

And neither does Kale, but you knew that already! 🤣
In addition to being full of digestive enzyme inhibitors, lectins, phytates, and oxalates, many plant seeds are also quite high in linoleic acid, an omega-6 PUFA which appears to be signaling your fat cells to grow.
You might want to think twice about that almond butter in your smoothie if you are trying to lose weight.

Better yet, forgo plant seeds (and leaves) entirely and you just might feel a whole lot better in general...
Especially if you also increase your intake of well-raised animal organs and meat.
