Any way ,casual reminder that Rick could have given us Aphrodite areia and he didn't, I actually really pissed about it cause just imagine what we could have had #pjo

Aphrodite areia btw, was probably the first version of Aphrodite to be warshiped, she was only warshiped in Sparta and they had taken her after they colonised the cult that warshiped her, she was a goddes of love sex and war here's a Wikipedia screen shot so you know I ain't lyin

What happened was that Athenians were shocked to see such extreme contrast in a goddess so they striped her of her war goddess title, Homer wrote an entire part of the Iliad to drive home that Aphrodite was useless in the battlefield to "prove" the Athenian version was the right

But Aphrodite areia was still warshiped even if only by Spartans, she was always depicted in armour like Ares , so if we think of the way Rick showed the gods work, that version of Aphrodite is still a part of her, and should have affected her children, which brings me to :

THE CHILDREN OF APHRODITE HAD NO BUSINESS STANDING AROUND ONLY BEING PRETTY, honestly even if you ignore Aphrodite areia that still stands so lemme explain

On top of being a war goddess , Aphrodite also had major political clout, she was the only other god ( other that zues) to be warshiped and celebrated throughout the entirety of the greek world, she was always depicted as someone who could bring people together,

She is the goddess of passion after all

Children of Aphrodite should have been warriors, they should have been perfectionists with a more feminine mindset, as a contrast to the more masculine mindset most soldiers in chb have

They should be able to asses situations and manipulate the crowd to their favour, they should be leaders that know how to get their soldiers exited for battle, they should be able to bring together the whole camp in case of emergency and get them to work together,

They should have added something different to chb army instead of standing there being useless ,the feminine mindset and way of war is completely missing since Athena as a literal constract of logic isn't really close to her feminine side

Things like espionage, manipulation and backstabbing are things ether war gods would have a hard time approving as a way of fighting but would be the Aphrodite's cabin main weapons, they don't see it as fighting dirty , they are just using all the weapons at their disposal

In a camp full of masculine soldiers the Aphrodite cabin should have been the feminine leader, even if they just manipulated the situation from behind the scenes, i mean it srsly can you imagine Drew like that

Can u image her using love magic to distract her victims, charm speak to establish dominance, Ares kids would be terrified of how easily she could distract them and force them to give up

Wouldn't it be more interesting to have the Aphrodite cabin be filled with girly heartbreakers that complain about the chb shit colour but have them not be shallow stereotypes, have them understand people's feelings and views of them and using that to their advantage

Wouldn't seeing girls that care about their appearance and take the extra minute to perfect their eyeliner also lead armys? Seeing them be perfectionists about their image so no one can question them? We never got to see girls it the books that were strong and into feminine staff

Seeing them almost whisper in a room full of screaming soldiers that all shut up and listen closely to them, cause they are that dreathtaking and that important to the battle? Cause Ares kids inspire fear and Athena kids respect but children of Aphrodite submittion ?
