Itβs so good to see him happy and fulfilled, and charting his own course with his co-captain. +
Harry hasnβt changed. Though others who were around him have revealed themselves... +
Perhaps those people are seeing him in a new light, too. Perhaps they thought he ascribed to the same race and caste system constructs they do. +
Take a look at his speeches from years ago. Harry hasnβt changed, but now he is vilified and ridiculed for what heβd been praised for previously. Harry has remained true. +
They thought his outreach to marginalized ppl was to burnish the image of an institution. No, those were his beliefs. He meant it.+
When he started Sentebale and Invictus, when he traveled to South Africa and Botswana, when he visited schools in βBAMEβ areas of UK, he meant that shit. Harry cares. +
For those of us happy to see him come out the other side of early childhood traumaβ to see his partnership with Meghan and the addition of their little one are a delight! +
Some will say many people suffer trauma and donβt have the resources and privilege he enjoys in his life. Yeah, true, and heβd be the first to acknowledge. +
But there are many with that privilege who donβt enthusiastically dedicate themselves to uplifting those who could use a helping hand.
Iβm so happy for him. Iβm so happy for them. May God grant many more happy years to the charming prince.
