Long time back a senior police officer told me to make a habit of being alert especially when approaching home in Car. If you notice any motorbike riders behind, don't turn the Car towards the gate and let them pass. Once u Park in front of gate, u are in a compromised position.

By Grace of God, was able to avoid getting mugged as I went to visit a friend a week back and was waiting for him to open the gate. Got alerted on seeing two motorcycle riders who crossed and turned around from street corner and started moving slowly towards me.

At same time, my Friend opened the gate and I moved my Car in and yelled at him to close the gate immediately. The motorcycle riders stopped for a second and then sped away on seeing gate shut. This happened behind Barkat Market in Garden town area.
