Going through an old memory card and found some photos from Kayak The Kwanza. Thought I'd share [a thread]!

Camping at the source of Angola's River Kwanza. Day One...1,300km to go!
The river begins to look like something we could actually paddle on!
This looks like it might be an entry point!
Dinner with the police at Soma Cuanza, the night before we actually start paddling!
Testing out diary-cam in the tent. Check out our @TheHALOTrust gear, keeping us warm!
Wow it was cold on the upper stretches of Angola's Kwanza River. Below zero at night, waking up to frost on the tents and dense fog...
Here's @WestonAlfy cooking up some fish. Not exactly delicious, but we would take all the calories we could get.
Sunset on Angola's River Kwanza. What an amazing place to be camping, just us and the hippos.
Frosty spiderweb one morning.
Having @CocaCola and @cervejacuca with the mining lads in Camacupa, having just sunk the kayak in rapids.
How much food did we get through kayaking 10-12 hours per day? As much as we could carry, and we were still on a calorie deficit. Lost about 10kg each over 33 days.
Hanging out on army base near Kuito Bridge while waiting for our Klepper kayak to be repaired. This is where photos end. Guess we switched to new memory card!
