The Sales Funnel.

This is a buzzwords in the marketing world. Rightly so however.

Every human/business interaction goes through a funnel.

Think about your relationship with your spouse or partner.

But let& #39;s stay focused.

A thread on the sales funnel.
1. Awareness/Attention

The first point of action is a prospect hearing about you. They become aware of your product/service offerings. This can be through social media, Google search, word of mouth e.t.c
That is why brands spend a lot of money in advertising since this is how word about them gets out.

Tip: Always advertise. Look at @SafaricomPLC . Almost everyone knows about this company but they keep on advertising.
2. Interest

Once prospects are aware what you offer, they are either interested or not. This is where the first bunch drops off.

Tip: Share information about your product/service and how it would improve the life of a prospect. This is where blog posts come in handy.
3. Desire/Consideration

The 3rd stage is where prospects are interested to buy and are doing research on the best option.

Tip: Use your unique selling point at this stage. Have Facebook pixel ads to advertise on e.g better pricing point, better after customer service etc.
4. Action

After you have convinced prospects why you are a better choice, they take action by either purchasing product/service or subscribing to a podcast or newsletter.
