Important to note Scottish and Welsh MPs overwhelmingly voted against the bill (90% and 65% of MPs respectively). Yet not only will both nations be dragged along - the devolution process will be attacked too. https://twitter.com/iandunt/status/1305621097619091456
It’s been a slippery slope. First we’re promised we’ll remain in the EU if Scotland votes no to Indyref, which it did.
Then Scotland voted overwhelmingly to remain (62%) during the Brexit vote. Against the will of the Scottish (and Northern Irish) people out we go from the EU.

Now the Internal Market Bill. 90% of Scottish MPs voted against (surprising nobody 10% who voted for it were Tories). Besides breaking international law, the bill is packed with things to quietly dismantle and undermine the power devolved parliaments like Scotland have.
Two of the biggies are it opens the backdoor to Westminster privatising NHS Scotland and overwriting our food standards (aka if Westminster deemed chlorinated chicken ok, the Scottish government be unable to stop its sale in Scotland).
Every step of the way on Brexit has been against the will of the people in Scotland. It’s so maddening to feel powerless about it all too, after all our MPs are backing our corner so what else can we do?
Personally, I’m channelling it into calmly making a case for IndyRef 2 to people given the above.
There’s no easy road paved with sunshine now, but IndyRef2 looks like the only route left to maintain the ideals we hold dear unless something drastic changes.
