This is so condescending. I hate it so much. Why are black women always told how to feel?? If not by men, then by other black women. Why can& #39;t we all just do whatever works for us as individuals? It& #39;s 2020, we have options. Choose what works for YOU. Leave other kids alone. https://twitter.com/ntsikimazwai/status/1305521284332294144">https://twitter.com/ntsikimaz...
Like why can& #39;t I look up cute ways to style my twa on pinterest and look for a cute bob on instagram AT THE SAME TIME? Why can& #39;t I love my natural hair and also feel cute in a wig? Why am I not allowed to feel like I love myself in my 22 inch as much as I do in my afro?
Everyday black women are told what to wear. How to dress. How to act. What to eat. Who to date. Who to be. Black women are always subjected to strive for desirability.
"Don& #39;t be too high maintenance" but also "Where are your standards?"

"Why do you wear make up, do you hate yourself?" but also "Make more effort into how you look"

"How can you be 30 and unmarried?" but also "Why do you feel like you need a man"
Fok man. It& #39;s tiring. LEAVE BLACK WOMEN ALONE. Let& #39;s normalise leaving them tf alone https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="😭" title="Laut schreiendes Gesicht" aria-label="Emoji: Laut schreiendes Gesicht">
