Probably the most important thing Polish and British conservatives /do/ have in common is that both have been driven so mad by humiliations they suffered in the 90s that they don't see themselves as having any stake in the constitutional order that actually exists.

Of course, those humiliations were their own fault - despite what they may tell you now, nobody forced the Polish right to eject itself from the Sejm in 1993 through sheer hubris, and nobody forced the Thatcher and Major governments to govern as they did.

Will they settle down over time? Well, I was born in 1998, and this thread was inspired by reading a right-wing Polish MP not /that/ much older than me go on a rant about the evil constitution, and of course Dehenna Davison exists, so make of that what you will.
