🌟I'm so proud of what we've achieved both within and beyond institutions & a sector that continuously said we weren't good enough, or that our way of thinking/ learning was not scholarly (shock, they want us now you now!!).🌟 https://twitter.com/survivesocpod/status/1305733083711320066
@survivesocpod remains a work in progress. For Tissot George and I, the podcast is us collectively recovering from, and unlearning the English education system. For this reasons alone, it's a beautifully flawed, but critically engaged output.
What we do & the conversations we host isn't activism, but the spaces we create do offer those who are doing the work, or more crucially for these time -have done the work- space to articulate how we achieve a better world.

It's also a space for learning and changing your mind.
Surviving Society is first and foremost an intergenerational conversation (millennial x GenX). Not just because of the guests we have on, but because Tissot and I host it from different starting points. This is important.
Even though I started off this thread a bit neg there were/are so many people who support(ed) us - you know who you are❤️

Thank you for listening to us, inspiring us andddddd surviving society with us (just about, rn ngl!) ✊🏾🖤
