I became obsessed with ER in lockdown and am procrastinating from course work so here is a twitter thread of members of the Gilmore Girls cast who appeared in ER. (Also I spent like an hour on this earlier but twitter didn't save it)

If you're wondering who cares about this other than me...probably no one. Maybe @KevinTPorter circa 2015 would have been mildly interested?

Firstly we get Kathleen Wilhoite as Susan's unreliable sister who leaves her child with Susan but eventually gets her shit together. In Gilmore Girls she played Luke's irresponsible sister who leaves her child with Luke but eventually gets her shit together.

Emily Kuroda,who played Mrs Kim, shows up as a hospital daycare employee. She has one line so I couldn't think of anything funny to say.

Ted Rooney plays neonatologist Dr Tabash on ER and Morey on ER. Clearly he's been typecast as a glasses wearer.

Linda Porter who played the beloved Fran Weston played Inga Paulson. I can't find a screencap since it's a very short scene. I also have no jokes but Exodus is one of my favourite episodes, I recommend checking it out.

Liza Weil who played Paris Gellar (objectively the shows best character), appears in two episodes as Samantha Sobriki, the wife of the schizophrenic patient who stabs Lucy and Carter. Again no jokes because it's not a very funny storyline.

Emily Bergl, who played Francie, gives Kovac the chance to be at his annoying self righteous best (worst?) as Gloria Milton in the season 6 finale. Again I surprisingly can't find a screencap for something that aired 20 years ago.

Jared Padelecki is in an car accident interestingly scored to Butterfly by Crazy Town & then spends most of the episode pretending to be unconscious while people act around him. Afaik he's the first cast member to appear while GG was airing. He was Rory's blandest boyfriend, Dean

(I intend to keep updating this thread as I go but I might not since I wildly overestimated how available ER screencaps would be and also if it wasn't for Kerry Weaver I'd have stopped watching mid season 6 - really the first 5 seasons are all you actually need to watch)
