I won’t give the details on where I work, but here is something I would like to say to medicos especially post interns who feel PG seat is the only thing that will define you are successful in a Medical field.
May be that was true in the past, but these days there are several alternate career options with good pay, lifestyle and status.

And yes your degree and your knowledge is worthy to your employer and you as well.
Like, I work as a Medical Advisor for an American Company for their Clinical Decision Support tool. I am WFH, do frequent webinars and meetings across India, and also other parts of the globe. Get to talk to Reputed doctors and heads whom I wouldn’t get to interact elsewhere.
It’s a 9-5 job, Saturday’s- Sunday’s are off & no night shifts.
Also if one is dedicated, there is options for career growth & fame. I also get to learn a lot about AI in Medical use & other stuff.
Point is how you apply your knowledge. Be it in clinics, labs or anywhere else.
I know of ppl who have done PhD after MBBS. One of my seniors is now in Australia. Also there are ppl who did MBA in Health care.

Medicine is a vast ocean. What you do with your knowledge, how you apply it and how it keeps you satisfied and contained is most important.
Good luck. And stay optimistic. You will find a way out amidst all these uncertainties and unpredictabilities. ❤️
Thanks to everyone who has resonated with this thread. 🙏

The purpose was to make young medicos understand the enormous opportunities that are there. Also, clinical and theoretical knowledge is the core essence of our field.
Excel and move ahead where ever the road takes you.❤️
