Katsuki and Izuku had been together since their second semester back when they were in their first year in middle school. Now that they're starting their second year in high school, izuku thought how long they've been together.
It's both amazing and kind of worrying how the two of them have always been together. From the moment they started walking to kindergarten to a rocky elementary then middle school where they took their relationship on a whole new level and now, in high school where they're β€”
β€” both studying to be Pro-Heroes. Time has come and go, the two of them underwent changes, they graduated thrice, met and lost people but the two of them had always been there, together. Ever-present. It was like if Katsuki is there, you know he would be there. Same as if β€”
β€” he's there, you know Katsuki will be there.

It's impressive and truthfully, frightening. At some point, Izuku's insecurities got the best of him.

What if Katsuki woke up one day and he's tired of him?

What if Katsuki realized he could do so much better than him?
What if Katsuki just suddenly stop loving him?

Or what if Katsuki wanted /better/ and he wasn't that /better/?

He would be plagued by those kind of thoughts that sometimes leave sleepless that he'd have to face the day plastering his happy face on even when all he β€”
β€” wanted to do is just curl up in bed, maybe cry a little, and just not think of anything.

"Good morning, Deku-kun!" Ochaco greeted cheerfully and Izuku inwardly took a deep breath before putting his mask on and greeted his friend with the same energy.
It's tiring but he'd rather strain himself than make other people worry about him especially Katsuki.

His classmates piled up in the room with Katsuki walking while his friends trailed behind him.

"Good morning, Kacchan!" Izuku chirped.

Katsuki just stared at him.
The blond sighed ever so lightly, dropped his bag unceremoniously on his desk. "Follow me, Izuku." He said and Izuku jolted in his seat.

They never really announced the entirety of their relationship but they never deliberately hide it as well.
But he's sure that they all think that they're just really good friends considering how Katsuki doesn't seem to only tolerate his presence but actually likes it.

Some even commented on how they envy their bond, amazed on how they've been together for like forever.
Usually when they're alone, Katsuki calls him 'Izuku' but even in private Katsuki rarely address him that unless he wanted to talk about something seriously. Deku had always been his go to even when the name started out as an insult which eventually evolved into an endearment.
By the gasps he heard from his classmates, he could tell that even them were surprised with what Katsuki called him.

"O-okay," Izuku pushed himself up and followed Katsuki who then exited the room leaving their classmates wide eyed and jaw dropped.
They ended up stopping at a fire exit.

"Kacchan, what's wrong?" Izuku worriedly asked. His brain was firing at a 100%. Feeding his insecurities that had him up all night.

Katsuki reached for his face, his thumb gently carressing the flesh below his eye.
"What kept you up? Did you have another nightmare? You should have called me, Izuku."

Izuku blinked at what he heard.

"I swear to god, Izuku, if you stayed late just to bid on another All Might merch," Katsuki narrowed his eyes on him.

The greenette quickly explained that β€”
β€” he didn't stay the night for another All Might merch or to read and analyze quirks and whatever the blond might have been thinking.

"So, why didn't you sleep?" Katsuki crossed his arms over his chest, leaning against the wall.

The smaller guy started fidgeting, while β€”
β€” mustering his infamous puppy eyes hoping Katsuki would drop the subject and take his flimsy excuse of him just worried about school work.

"Your damn puppy eyes won't work on me, babe." Katsuki almost rolled his eyes and Izuku felt his shoulder slumped in defeat.
"But... It's pretty stupid, Kacchan." He whined.

"What else could it be? You're the type of person who wastes his every brain cell for something stupid." Katsuki grunted back. "So you better fucking spit it out."

Izuku sighed, biting his lips. He gave Katsuki one last β€”
β€” pleading look but the latter just scoffed it off.

"Hurry the fuck up, Aizawa would kick our ass if we're late."

"I was just thinking about," Izuku gulped down the lump in his throat. "About you."

Katsuki's brow arched, "Me?"

Izuku gave a weak nod.
"I was thinking that we have been together for all our lives... And I was thinking what I would do when you suddenly not want me anymore," Izuku gave a sad weak smile. "I mean you're so amazing, Kacchan! You'd probably want someone better," Izuku ended what he was β€”
β€” saying with an awkward laugh in an attempt to make what he said less pathetic.

There was silence. Izuku started to worry when a minute pass and Katsuki didn't say anything. His tears are threatening to well up on the corner of his eyes.

Katsuki gave a loud sigh, pushing β€”
β€” himself off the wall.

"Izuku," He called and the grenette looked at him with green eyes glossy of unshed tears. "I don't want someone 'better'. I want you. And i will only want you." izuku's tears burst.

Katsuki grabbed his arm gently and pulled him to an embrace.
"I don't know what brought this on but you have to know that even if I, let's just say, want better there's literally no one better than you, stupid idiot." Izuku melted against Katsuki's strong warm arms.

He'd always, always love the way Katsuki embraced him. Tight yet gentle.
Warm and filled with so much want. His embrace always makes him feel wanted and loved. On how the blond does that, he'd never know. But Izuku likes to think of it as some kind of magic trick that Katsuki will never reveal the secrets behind.
Katsuki then parted slight away from his mess of a crying boyfriend, he cupped his face tenderly, thumbs wiping his fat tears.

"I know I don't say this that much but I love you. I love you so much, Izuku. You're the only one I'll love like this. I don't think I'd be able to β€”
β€” love anyone else when I have given every love I have in me to you."

Izuku began wailing again, calling his boyfriend's name with his broken voice.

"Stop crying, idiot. The stupid classmates of ours will think I bullied you or something," Katsuki grunted.
Izuku just threw himself to the blond, hugging him tightly. "I love you more, Kacchan! You're the only one I'll love."

"You better or else." Katsuki grunted.

Izuku wiped his tears away with Katsuki's help using his handkerchief.
"If you have those stupid thoughts again just talk to me," Katsuki gently cooed. "I'll tell you want you need to hear."

Izuku gave a small smile. Sometimes he forgot how much of a softie Katsuki really is. But most of the time, he'd like to think that's just for him to see.
"I'm sure you'd find it annoying if I do that because I tend to be insecure most of the time."

"Yeah. It will be a pain but I don't have a problem telling you over and over again until it sticks in your idiotic brain." Katsuki huffed, cheeks and ears slightly pink.
"Okay," Izuku beamed. "Thank you for being such a good boyfriend." Izuku gave the blond a chaste kiss on his lips. "I love you, Kacchan."

Katsuki smiled, "Yeah. Me too, stupid Deku."

They then began strolling back to class once they deemed Izuku doesn't look like he was β€”
β€” crying. The moment they settled down on their seats, Aizawa came in stopping their friends and classmates from questioning them on what happened which was a huge relief to Izuku. Until lunch, because he had to face the burning questions his friends have.
"Deku-kun, what happened with you and Bakugou before class started?" Uraraka asked not wasting any time by beating around the bush.

"Uhhh," Izuku shyly rubbed his nape. "Well, he was scolding me for not sleeping last night."

"You weren't able to sleep?" Todoroki blinked.
Izuku nodded. "I tend to think of about stupid things." He then chuckled.

"But you look like you just cried when you came back. Your eyes are red and puffy." Uraraka interjected. Izuku froze at what she said.

"Really?" Izuku stalled. "Well, yeah I talked about some β€”
β€” pretty stupid things with him."

His friends just looked at each other. They wanted to pry more. But instead they just told him that if he needed someone, they're willing to listen and be with him. Izuku thanked them all with a big smile that could melt anyone's heart.
After that day, Izuku would then hang out in Katsuki's room and while they were studying in silence Izuku would pop a random question at the blond, "Kacchan, do you still love me?"

Katsuki would look at him and ruffle his hair. "I always love you, nerd."
Izuku then would melt at that gestures and in Katsuki's declaration.

Him questioning Katsuki if he still loves him became a habit. And Katsuki will always, always tell him that he loves him.

"Kacchan, why do you always answer with 'I always love you' instead of β€”
β€” 'i still love you'?"

They were lying in bed, scrolling onntheir phone when Izuku asked that. Katsuki put his phone down and pulled the greenette closer.

"It's weird to say 'I still love you'. The implications it has feels like I will stop loving you one day."
Izuku turned to look at his boyfriend.

"I am not gonna stop loving you. I know that. I can feel that. And even when we had problems and sometimes it's so fucking frustrating and I am angry but there was never a day that I stop loving you."

With that Izuku's tears burst out.
"Augh, stop being a crybaby, Zuku." Katsuki sighed exasperatedly.

"But that was so sweet," Izuku hiccupped.

"Yeah, yeah. Whatever."

Izuku quickly hugged Katsuki, maneuvering himself on top of the blond. "I always love you too, Kacchan." He smiled beautifully.
And Katsuki was in love with him all over again. This time there's no turning back, he's in way too deep.

"Yeah," Katsuki smiled hugging him tightly.

Izuku would probably ask him that stupid 'do you still love me' until they're old but Katsuki's prepared to answer him β€”
β€” over and over again. Not getting tired reminding the nerd of what he felt and what he will always feel for him.

Izuku had a rough night when the villains attacked them. AGAIN. He was so tired, peachy, and sleepy that he tend to thread and forgets where he's currently at.

The whole class was in the common area, unable to sleep because of what happened so they decided to fire β€”
β€” up a movie. They gathered their pillows and blanketd. Some even brought snacks then they played the most relaxing movie they agreed upon.

Izuku was sitting between Todoroki and Uraraka when he mindlessly crawled his way to Katsuki and settled on his lap, snuggling to him.
In seconds every eyes peeled off the huge screen as they turned to look at the two sworn rivals of their class.

"Kacchan," Izuku mumbled. "Do you still love you me?" His head was lolling, he's about to fall asleep.
Katsuki began rubbing his back gently. "Yeah, I always love you, Izuku." Izuku happily purred at his answer then he was fast asleep. Staying at Katsuki's lap, clutching to him like a koala.

"What the fuck?" Denki broke the silence that engulfed the entire room.
"Shut up, Sparky. Deku's asleep and he's fucking tired because of those damn villains." Katsuki sharply turned to him.

"Dude, you two are dating???" Sero almost exclaimed but toned down when Katsuki glared at him. Everyone followed suit, declaring how they're surprised.
Katsuki furrowed his brow. "We've been dating since fucking middle school. What the hell are you all yammering about like it's something new."

And on cue, everyone's brain short-circuited.

They definitely didn't receive the memo that they have been dating all this time.
