Ok folks I think it's time for an Annual Shareholder Meeting thread. I'll admit, most of my posts are garbage but this one I'm truly passionate about.

Let's do this. (1/x)
(2/x) Make it a habit to go to annual shareholder meetings. Yes, Zoom Meetings are great, but actually attending really gives you incredible insight on how the board interacts with each other, etc. Better yet, they usually provide free food and sometimes even coupons.
(3/x) Ok, the first 15 minutes are totally boring. Unless you are an activist investor, you are pretty much going to snooze for the first part of it. Be respectful and pretend to listen. Oh yeah, don't dress like a bum.
(4/x) There is usually a presentation given by the CEO and/or Chairman. I love when companies do this because you sometimes get new tidbits making the drive all the more worthwhile.
(5/x) My favorite part is the networking. You are in a room with Billionaires. These people are masters of industry and you can learn a lot by asking questions. And the other attendees are also cool to meet / sharing ideas, etc. Lots of 'interesting' people.
(6/x) Towards the end of the meeting comes Q&A. This is your time to shine. Come prepared and have at least five real good questions. Unless there is some conflict, the Chairman and/or CEO will answer the question as honest as possible. You can really learn a lot.
(7/x) In summary, go to the Annual Shareholder Meetings. It's shocking to me that more investors don't take advantage of this incredible opportunity to learn about their favorite company and/or network with new people.

You can learn a lot about a business by meeting management!
