I explained to my students what weebs are, how many of them fetishize Japanese women as waifus and ignore that Japanese Women Are People, and explained how many of them come to Japan, learn Japan is Not Anime, then leave Japan

Their responses were very interesting
One student said: ā€œI donā€™t want foreigners to come to Japan treating Japanese women like this. We are not 2D characters. They should not be so rude.ā€
Another student said: ā€œI think foreigners who only watch anime are troublesome. They should watch documentaries with real Japanese people to see how we are. If they come to Japan, maybe be tourists only.ā€
Finally, the last student said: ā€œI want to make friends with foreigners but I think these weebs sound troublesome. I donā€™t think I want to be friends with someone like this. Maybe weebs should only talk to Japanese otaku and leave the rest of us aloneā€ LOL COLD
All three students were very disappointed when I told them stories of weebs who come to Japan and after 3-6 months living here and seeing that Life in Japan is Not Anime they get disillusioned and leave. They wish weebs would be more open minded to the 3D world
The suggestions my students had for weebs to learn about Japan:

- Talk to real Japanese people
- Talk to other foreigners living in Japan (lol)
- Watch vloggers who show daily life in Japan
- Donā€™t watch so much anime (lmaoooooo)
to all the angry weebs who are like ā€œHOW U EVEN HAVE STUDENTS IS BEYOND MEā€
