I am a VTuber.
Many of my friends are VTubers.
We put a lot more work into this than people give us credit for.
We aren't huge like hololive or have a big company around us, we do all of our stuff ourselves. The money that does into this? That's OUR money.

I put a lot of hard effort and sweat into VTubing.
When I'm not doing school work or cleaning, I'm vtubing. I stream. I do commissions. I branch out to people. I have to do my own overlays and buttons. I do a lot. Like many others do as well.

When I'm not streaming, I'm doing commission work. And when I'm not doing that, I'm doing art for my streams to make it better. And when I'm not doing that, I'm editing my avatar. When I'm not doing that, I'm coming up with ideas for vtubing. When I'm not doing that,

I'm running my Discord. And when I'm not doing that, I'm talking to people. And when I'm not doing that, I'm researching how to do better and how to get involved in the community. And when I'm not doing any of that, I'm on VTuber Twitter constantly.

What I'm saying, is that VTubing is a lot more work then just 'oh yeah, plop an avatar on my face and stream'. It's more than that. It's community building, it's getting better, it's doing anything for this. Needless to say, VTubing is my bread and butter and it makes me . . .

so happy. I put everything into this. I'm constantly working with it. I know I don't always show it, or have any 'physical' proof, but I really am putting all my effort into this. We're real people working hard. We don't have a company. We don't have anything but . . .

ourselves and the community. I wish I could show more of how I put effort into this, but I'm here to say that this is more than just a bunch of people just streaming or making videos. This is a community. This means a lot to people. I wish more people could see that.

So to all the new people looking at the vtuber community, it's a lot more behind the scenes then you think. We put a lot of time and effort and when we get riled up due to someone that might cause damage somehow, I think we deserve to be able to have that reaction.

But this is a sweet and nice community. I welcome everyone with open arms. Thank you for being interested in us and what we do. I hope you enjoy your stay.
