Seen way too many babies not buckled in right on social media today so wanted to say if you aren’t sure if you are buckling them correctly please send me a dm somewhere & I will very kindly inform you. It’s not about proving someone wrong it’s about keeping the babies safe

Super easy to understand graphic. Also blankets, coats, anything bulky can not be worn between the baby & buckles. You can buckle them in then put a blanket over the top of the buckles. If you don’t know if your seat is installed correctly most fire stations will gladly help!
Most car seats come with these soft cushions that go over the shoulder straps but sometimes they are too bulky and make it so the chest strap doesn’t go where needed. You can take those off if it prevents you from buckling your kid in tightly.
One last thing. Things like this are cute but so dangerous. Do not put anything on your car seat that didn’t come with it or can’t be bought from the brand of car seat’s website. Maxi Cosi has some super cute seats if you are wanting something a bit extra!
