Ok, so I& #39;m going to give some words on my experience with muh Surface Duo.

1) It took me only 5-10 mins to get it setup. Do the Google Backup first, restore on to new device. Tada.

2) The gestures took me a little bit of time getting used to, but it& #39;s pretty cool.
3) Battery life is surprisingly decent for the amount of time I typically use a phone. I went a total of 45 hours without charging it, with moderate use. Now I wasn& #39;t streaming videos the entire time which made the difference, but I was tweeting, texting, Edge browsing + YT Music
4) Edge... There are SOME instances where it doesn& #39;t feel like launching immediately. It lags like crazy before running, like it ignored me. I can& #39;t consistently reproduce it, but I can indeed make it happen many times. I dunno what that is.
5) The peek display is nice, but doesn& #39;t show any real information. That isn& #39;t too useful to me.

6) I expected more applications to support dual screen than what is offered.
7) Many apps (assuming those that aren& #39;t dual screen optimized) will force an app to another screen to make way for the keyboard on the other screen.

8) Keyboard... I would like if it spanned both screens in landscape mode.
9) Keyboard pt2. Best to either type in portrait mode or on single screen.

10) If you change the launcher, reboot. Otherwise it does this weird overlay of the newly chosen launcher with the existing one underneath of it.
11) I love the feel of this phone. It& #39;s light and definitely skinnier than my Razer Phone.

12) The bezels........ WHY SO THICC? I& #39;d love if the bezels were minimal.
13) Camera. I really like it. This is indeed an upgrade from my Razer Phone& #39;s junky camera. This is satisfactory for me. May not be for everyone else, but it works for taking pictures of my beautiful face.
14) The screens are nice and clear. I want to try watching something that spans both screens...

BUT
THAT
DAMN
HINGE.
15) Speaking about the hinge, it& #39;s actually works well for serving its main function.
16) The fingerprint reader is WONDERFUL. I really like that it& #39;s standalone and not also functioning as the power button. That& #39;s one thing that annoyed me with the Razer Phone. Sometimes I want to just press the power to light up the display, not try to unlock the damn thing.
17) It has a really nice speed to it. It& #39;s been very snappy for me.

18) I like the app groups, but know that you have to long press a single app to create the group. I instinctively tried to merge two app icons, which creates a folder.
19) When rotating it to "laptop mode", make sure you don& #39;t accidentally tilt the phone at a slight angle - otherwise it rotates it back to a portrait display.
20) The Remote Desktop App isn& #39;t dual screen optimized. That& #39;s all I& #39;m gonna say lol.

21) The Surface Pen works well. It& #39;s basic input though (as stated by many reviewers).

22) SwiftKey needs a handwriting mode. The Google Handwriting Input app is fantastic with the Surface Pen
22) I wish the speaker was better (again, I came from a Razer Phone. That was one of the best things about it). Maybe for 2nd gen, dual speakers with Dolby Atmos or something.
23) I& #39;m still getting used to this device and liking it more and more as I use it. I can definitely see the need for Surface Duofying apps for it.
