Asa Coon and the SuccessTech Academy shooting

A Thread
On October 10, 2007, 14-year-old Asa H. Coon injured 5 students at SuccessTech Academy in Cleveland, Ohio. Armed with two handguns and three folding knives, Asa Coon entered SuccessTech and made his way to the fourth floor where he loaded the two guns in the men's washroom.
Shortly after leaving the washroom, at 1:06 pm, Asa was punched in the face by a fellow student after accidentally bumping into said student. While the student was walking away, Coon pulled out one of his guns and shot the student in the abdomen.
Coon shot another student, 17-year-old Darnell Rodgers, in the same hallway. The bullet grazed Darnell's elbow and injured him.
Coon then entered a social studies classroom and shot teacher Michael Grassie in the chest.
Coon then re-entered the hallway and shot teacher David Kachadourian in the shoulder while David was evacuating his students.
Witnesses say that Asa was cursing throughout the shooting.
The shooting ended when Coon shot himself in the head with one of the guns.

The motivation for the shooting was revenge for bullying. Asa was bullied at school for the way he dressed and his eccentric behavior.
During the shooting, Asa was wearing black jeans, a Marilyn Manson shirt, and black nail polish.

The week before the shooting, he had made threats to students and teachers.
Asa had had a criminal and mental health record dating back to 2005. In summer of 2006, he had threatened to commit suicide.

A friend believes he had been pushed too far by bullying, and that that was a factor in the events.
