the idea that anyone without a stake in LA-LA would root for the Lakers is patently insane. you don't watch Star Wars and want the Empire to win, you don't watch Harry Potter and say "hey I like that Voldemort guy," you don't watch the Avengers and think Thanos is the hero
the Lakers have always been and always will be the villains, the Clippers being unlikeable right now and on the cusp of possibly falling short again is not license for you to start pulling for the bad guys. I'm sick of it
