There are so many of you being so good at making comics matching good art and simplification skills. For instance, I see these simple backgrounds made with wonky lines and one or two flat colors that work so good and require (I imagine) so little time.
Why should I make my life so hard wasting a lot of time drawing and coloring with care every single prop of one background? Acquiring mediocre results most of the time because I& #39;m bad with lighting and space proportions.
Is it my way of drawing characters to blame? Would simplified backgrounds even fit with my style? Am I too polished for comics? Should I change my whole process of conceiving art? I really want and need to be quicker at drawing but I feel stuck into my own style. So frustrating.
