Regarding Aeriod and Galla-Deia in my books...one could have quite the discussion on how their relationship changed by their separate mingling with humans. For example, Aeriod learned more about humans by living at Mandira for decades. So when he’s reunited with Galla...
And since she physically resembles a human, and Aeriod is NOT human, yet gained knowledge, their reunion was more intimate than before their time away. It’s odd for Aeriod, as humans by and large irritate if not disgust him, to be so attracted to Galla anyway.
She has more power over him than he realizes...or than SHE realizes, for that matter. And it’s a good thing she does, for humanity’s sake. I hint at that in Accretion.
