1. Deflect to something else that average people may not realize isn't the same issue after all. (You care about people dying from breast cancer? Why aren't you helping all the people dying from liver cancer then?)

3. Cherry-pick stats that "prove" your point: more white people die in motor vehicle accidents than black people every year (the correct stat would be based on %/likelihood)

5. Respond as if the person has been brainwashed and cannot possibly think as an individual and only believes what the media tells them to.

6. Never provide any sort of argument. Just throw up your arms as if you just proved someone wrong and they are too dumb to understand.
