In a Facebook Live video, HHS Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs Michael Caputo said, "When Donald Trump refuses to stand down at the inauguration, the shooting will begin. If you carry guns, buy ammunition, ladies and gentlemen, because it's going to be hard to get."
Caputo, whose twitter account was either disabled or suspended, also suggested without evidence that the killing of a Trump supporter in Portland was part of larger left-wing plot: “Remember the Trump supporter who was shot and killed? Caputo moved to Russia in 1994 after the fall of the Soviet Union and advised Boris Yeltsin while working for the US Agency for International Development.
