It doesn't mean TPS for these countries will immediately end. Recipients affected by the ruling will be allowed to keep their status until at least Feb, and those from El Salvador until at least Nov.

In addition to the immigrants who have benefited from TPS, the ruling is also expected to affect over 200,000 US-citizen children. In a statement the Justice Department said it was pleased with the ruling which had prevented DHS from taking action on TPS.
