Kindness. A thread.

Last Monday Rina ran to a @Walgreens.

The realtor was about to show a house. Needed to replace light bulbs.

But, she forgot her wallet.

Rita, the cashier, paid the $12.41.

Rina & Rita were strangers.
Rita only had $20 in her bank account.
Rina goes home. Grabs wallet.
Returns to @Walgreens. Pays Rita back, with a little extra.

Then Rina shares the experience on @Nextdoor.
Neighbors can't type fast enough.

Dozens of them share rave reviews about Rita.

I hear what happened. Find Rita.

The 58-year old's worked at the same @Walgreens for 38 years.

I then read the comments to her:
Neighbors start collecting donations.
They don't like knowing their favorite cashier has a very tight budget.

The whole story is incredible.

If a cashier, who has seconds to make a genuine connection with someone, can impact so many lives, so can we❤️
