At various points in your life, you may have many problems coming together at the same time. You may lack money, have problems in your relationships, have difficulties at work, have heath challenges, etc, ALL AT THE SAME TIME! How do you deal with them without going under? Thread
If you think about all the problems, they’ll seem huge & overwhelming. You won’t even know where to start from. Sometimes, you will think “If I just had money, all the problems will go away.” Not necessarily. Money helps a lot but rich people have problems too. Here’s what I do:
First thing I do is to write down all the problems. Having written them down, I then isolate which ones I can quickly solve just to reduce the numbers. Some relationship problems can be solved simply with an apology or by forgiving others.
Many people think apologising is an act of weakness. It’s not. Once I’ve apologised, I have dealt with the issue and shifted the burden to the other person. Some think forgiveness is also an act of weakness. No. It’s a selfish act to free my mind of that problem and cross it out.
Next, I think about which problem I can solve that will lead to the solving of other problems. If money can help, I temporarily park the related problems & focus on how I can get money. I think “What can I sell that someone will pay for?” It could be property, labour or a skill.
It may not be big money. It could be just enough that I no longer need to say “I wish I just had N5k.” That N5k could be what I need to pay my transport fare to go see someone that can help me solve one or two problems on my list. The next consideration then is “Who can help?”
As the saying goes: “A problem shared is a problem halved.” It’s time to work your networks. Just ask for information. You don’t always have to beg. In many cases, people will say “I wish you told me yesterday”, but in other cases, they will say “You came at the right time.”
As you are solving each problem, you are crossing them off your list. Before you know it, the problems don’t seem as overwhelming as they initially seemed. Don’t forget that some problems take longer to solve than others but the less the number of problems you have, the better.
Without your health, you can’t solve any problems. Look after your health. No matter how daunting any challenges seem, don’t panic. Stay in control. Lastly, pray. Sometimes, miracles happen. A positive mindset and a refusal to give up complements your prayers. Good luck. End.
