My current exp w/ @Tmobile. A thread:

I bought 2 of our fam lines #Tmobile Revvl 5G's, "the Most Affordable 5G smartphone in the US".

Then found out ONLY #Tmobile currently has screen protectors & cases for the Revvl 5G, at "premium" prices. 2 FILM not glass style for $50+

I contacted @tmobilehelp. As a long-time customer they gave me an account credit of $20 if I bought the 2 overpriced film screen protectors ($50+). Still too $$

We already have the 2 Revvl 5G's & need screen protectors to keep them in good condition during the trial period

I still wasn't happy with the pricing. We normally buy our devices good quality tempered glass screen protectors 2 for $10 either from Amazon (AmFilm brand, but glass) or from our local discount mobile shop. But only T-mobile has REvvl 5G accessories in stock, no place else.

So, having the phones in hand and a limited amount of time (at this point 12 days left) to decide if they worked/were good devices for us before the trial period ended, I agreed to the #Tmobile rep's offer, and she placed the order for the 2 film-type screen protectors.

Six days later, @Tmobile hasn't even shipped the screen protectors yet! 😡

Shipping label created: 9/11
USPS awaiting item: 9/14

And it's Ground Shipping, so even if they shipped today, they'd take (from exp) at least 5 days to arrive.

Which means...

We'd only have 1/2 a day left to set up and test both our new Revvl 5G's before the return period expires. Half a day to decide whether to keep the new phones or not.

So, I contacted @TMobileHelp via DM today. And, let's just say, they're getting me even more frustrated...

In the last 2 hours of slow motion DM pong...

I've been asked to shell out another $50+ for two new screen protectors at a local store, and to return the original 2 whenever, if ever, they arrive, then wait EST a month and a half for a refund on the original 2.

Forget continuing this thread, the DM experience today with @TMobileHelp was so frustrating we're just returning the phones instead and having our credit card company cancel the charges for the screen protectors they never shipped.
