But the kind of h@teful tweets that d RWers r posting today, has made me sick to my guts. The clever ones who always have something to say on everything are conveniently quiet while the blatant homophobic ones are proudly showing their fangs..

LGBT orgs, who have bcum soft toys of d left, as usual, are bashing d gov. and honestly, I expect nothing else from them at this point. Calling out their mistakes is fine but 24*7 bashing is only going to create rift & widen the communication gap more & more. Stop bng suic!dal

Centre & RWers are saying that it’s against our culture! What’s our culture? Who decides it? For the sake of argument, they say that it’s the most scientific and accepting culture but very conviniently homosexual marriage is against it now! It does not allow!

I cannot claim to know our culture & dharma completely; how can anybody in its rightful mind?? It’s d only living tradition which has never bn controlled & commanded by any religious figurines bt, suddenly there r so many ‘Dharma k thekedar’ popping their heads out like mushrooms

Frm what I understand, d core of our culture is ‘self-evaluation & conscious evolution’ or Mukti to put in a simpler manner. Moral policing others like Abrah@mics was nvr our culture. Bt ppl today r teaching us abt d various commandments which were not evn heard by our ancestors

Many believe that it’s a western trend to be gay and in addition to that, it’s an American conspiracy to promote and impose their culture, bars and drinks on poor Indians. Can you ever counter this narrative? Some think it’s a disease while, for some it’s a mental disorder..

Animals in the wild and ppl engaging in homosexuality even before the discovery of fire were all unnatural, completely artificial. According to a statement submitted by @INCIndia congress in 2008 to SC, it’s an act commited by pervrts and ret@rds.

@BJP4India has also made it clear that it’s against our culture and laws though the Solicitor Gen pointed that it was his personal views but is this really possible for him to pass such a comment without the gov’s nod? What options do we have now?

Even if the HC legalises it, it will be further challenged and delayed in the SC. Lastly, if SC legalises it, it will have to ask the gov to frame laws related to homosexual marriage. Now the question is, is BJP willing and brave enough to table and discuss it in d parliament?

Meanwhile, ppl like me will continue to be called bhakts and we will keep adding “Chowkidar” before our names at the call of our hon PM @narendramodi ji. For us, country is above all, maintaining her honour and glory is the most significant duty for each one of us..

But, @narendramodi sir, my only objection is that I live in a democratic country and not a single citizen should be devoided of the rights which are enjoyed by others. I cannot be made to feel like a low-life, less-deserving, mockworthy citizen

I am a free, educated and a responsible citizen of this country and nobody else should be allowed to take decisions of my life on my behalf. Sir @narendramodi ji I do not want to end up like my several friends who are now married to women but r stl looking for same-s€x partners

We are not just a handful, we are millions out there. Some of them are working as your cadres, booth-workers, employees at the PM’s house, BJP IT cell, and many of your voters and supporters might be gay too. Many of them have grand kids now. You won’t know Sir @narendramodi

I do not want to grow old as a grandfather and still look for completion and satisfaction. I demand a dignified life sir @narendramodi I also understand that s€xuality is just one of the aspects of one’s personality but now, it’s a matter of our right to decide and live
