What is with lesbians and them insisting every identity belongs to them? Next it will be the lesbianism of Elton John. https://twitter.com/radiantbutch/status/1304968273944084481
So the reasoning I am reading is this: The cops used to arrest lesbians in bars when they wore pants. To avoid arrest lesbians, women who wore pants, tried to pass as men. Now because some lesbians, who are women, dress "butch" that means the word "woman" has changed meaning.
This was also written by a "nonbinary lesbian." Do they mean instead a nonbinary person who dates/has sex with people who identify as women?
If so, that points out a crisis of language in queer discourse: previous terms of sexual orientation are rooted in cishetero and binary supremacy. They assume that trans people don't exist. They ignore the existence of intersex people.
If you are a non binary person who loves/dates/has sex with women identifying people .... you're queer. You are not a woman. That is kind of inherent in being non-binary.

Words mean something. The "not woman lesbian" discourse is a product of cis white lesbians attempting -
to claim the entire LGBT+ community as theirs. Just like cis gay men, who experience oppression from an anti queer culture, cis white lesbians hide behind their identities when they try to erase trans people from existence.
The fact is, we can talk about murder and poverty all we want but I have experienced more things perpetrated by the queer community that make me want to end my life than I ever will from society at large. I am constantly booted out of spaces that should be mine.
