I'm a bit worried about Real Madrid this season. We're a Benzema or Casemiro injury away from capitulation unless Zidane has a plan to integrate Jović & he does well. Paying €15m for Roca would've gone a long way to ensure squad depth while also improving the squad. (1/n)

Whenever Hazard plays it feels like we have a new signing. It's a bit unfortunate, this whole injury thing, but he's actually a player I'm not too worried about since his position is covered by Vinicius Jr who I think is ready even if Hazard isn't.

Holding on to Odriozola is a must even if he's error prone. I'd rather have him use his pace to make up for shoddy positioning than Lucas Vázquez fail at RB while also not offering anything going forward from that position.

This is the season where we should see more of Militão. It's time to get him integrated. Ramos isn't getting younger and though he's a physical freak, playing the whole season and not expecting any wear & tear is unreasonable. I'd like to see a more aggressive version of Militão.

Ødegaard is the biggest addition to the squad and I'm so excited that he's back! But it's also a selection headache for Zidane. We already don't score as much & while Ø does create a lot, he isn't enough of a goalscoring threat to replace a RW and slot in just ahead of midfield.

I'd also expect Mendy to consolidate his position as our number 1 LB in the depth chart. He's already a starter but I'd prefer him to play nearly every game unless he needs rest.

Finally, Fede! He's the player I expect to have the biggest impact going forward (other than Vinicius). This is his chance to oust Luka Modrić and to make that spot his own. He suffered from burnout last season so Zidane will have to ensure that he maintains his energy levels.
