(1/2) Out running this morning on a new route and a lady runs past me.
Despite only passing, when I get home @Strava automatically tags her in my run. If I click on her face it shows her full name, picture and a map of her running route (which effectively shows where she lives)

(2/2) This is despite the fact that I don& #39;t follow her and she doesn& #39;t share her activity publicly.
So basically if someone sees a woman running alone there& #39;s an app they can go to see her name, picture and address

UPDATE: @ntzm_ points out this is a separate privacy setting from when you change who can see your activities - all settings default to & #39;Everyone& #39; but this feature will only be disabled if you turn off & #39;Flyby& #39;

Looking at the wording on the Flyby privacy setting, it& #39;s absolutely not clear that other people will be able to see your running route on a map (and all the info that comes along with that)
This is what happens when the people making these decisions aren& #39;t people who have to worry about harassment
