There's a guy who sits outside my local Co-Op, seen him many times. Homeless natch, but really nice lad. Told me just after lockdown started he'd been diagnosed with bowel cancer.

Saw him today for the first time in weeks. Skinny as a rake, shocking to see. It's terminal and spread to his heart. He declined chemo as it's pointless & might as well go to someone else.

Finally been offered shared accommodation after years living on the streets. As we were talking a woman walked past and glared at him and sighed loudly.

I really hate living in a society where we treat people like this. He's such a nice lad, clearly had a fucking hard life, can't be more than 30.

Hold your noses and vote Tory people. Alternatively, shove your austerity up your arse.
