This is how I feel about my place on the gender spectrum. I& #39;m too old to switch pronouns, but I REALLY wish 10 year old androgynous me had had the language to explain why she liked it so much when adults asked if she was a boy or a girl.

Kids today are going to know themselves. https://twitter.com/The_Lone_Apple/status/1305525264110284802">https://twitter.com/The_Lone_...
As a kid, I used to wonder how I& #39;d feel if I woke up a boy, and decided I& #39;d feel exactly the same. My little girlfriends were horrified at the thought.

In college, I started asking women what made them feel like women. I got a lot of great answers, but none that worked for me!
I used to say stuff like "I& #39;d make a really great dad" because I love kids, but nothing *feels* maternal in there.

I never felt like I was a boy, I just didn& #39;t feel like a girl either.
I& #39;m a woman because I& #39;ve been treated like one my whole life, and gender is a construct.

But jeez it would have been nice to have language to explain it all!
