12AM/ 3AM Squad Deep | 🙏 An Unpopular Piece on Prayer 🙏

[A Smallanyana Thread]
Prayer, a form of communicating with our Maker and connecting with Divinity within where we lay our requests, thanksgiving, and at times a Son/Daughter to Father chat where we don't necessarily ask for anything but merely talk with the "Grandest Parent Of All" and Align self.
Prayer in its true and pure essence is personal. There's many types of prayers, with the fanciest names in the world but they also come from someone else's personal communication with uMdali. What we can agree on is that Prayer has varying degrees of meaning from person to person
One of the biggest points of "conflict" has been the famous midnight and 3AM prayers. One group says these are the most effective times to pray at and another says you can pray at anytime you feel like because God is equally active at all times.

Both are right. Hear me Out.
There are people who have specifically been given the Ministry of Intercession, to Pray - especially for others. With the establishment of the Witchcraft Suppression Act 3 of 1957, many were sent "underground" and the only time they could do what they are called for was at night.
Growing up elokshini I was exposed to a lot of "Izinkonzo Zasebusuku" where people who had the gift yobuNgoma and IsiPorofito would hold "services" at night, pray for people, heal and deliver people who were under the influence or possession of evil spirits, imimoya emibi.
These called ones would pray at midnight and 3AM, religiously. My late mother was one of them at some point until she resigned from anything "church" altogether to pray and be of service in her own personal space.
The west calls these hours "The Witching Hours" with 3AM being labelled as the Peak hour where the veil between the living and the spirit is the thinnest. This is the time when most Spiritual attacks are at their peak. The Intercessors would be praying at this time against evil.
As time progressed the midnight and 3am times were casually adopted by most believers, I say casually because most adopted these prayer times without the above context, as it is extremely quiet and peaceful at these times. One is able to clearly pray in the stillness of the night
Is it then wrong to adopt the midnight to 3AM prayer time? No it's not, though one needs to be always connected noMoya so you can discern when Prayer is needed. Sometimes the urge will hit you at 2pm in the afternoon or at 2:30am in the morning.
Discern. Stay connected. Grow in your Spiritual walk. Learn from others but don't just adopt because more and more people are doing certain things their way. There are people who are not built for those 3AM fights but that's a topic for another day.

Stay Prayed Up ❤️
