A lot of you know that my day job isn& #39;t related to LTNs or cycling or anything like that -- I work on campaigns protecting civilians in war zones.
You can& #39;t do a job like that without being exposed to real nasty stuff online -- hateful propaganda from world powers, images of the dead and wounded after air strikes, misinformation accusing heroes of being terrorists.
That& #39;s why coming into this world of campaigning -- for safer streets, cleaner air, tighter communities and a way of allocating space that works for everyone, not just drivers -- was so refreshing
You don& #39;t get to see wins very often in my line of work. And it& #39;s much, much harder to see the impact of what you do.
Coming into this space was a respite from the hate and evil that people can show each other.

In the past week it& #39;s definitely felt like the campaigns to stop LTNs are getting nastier.
The place I& #39;ve gone for respite is feeling less refreshing and more personally threatening.
