📈FOR MY 30+ FOLLOWERS📈

We’re not all in our 20s!

So let’s take a look at what starting in your 30s looks like!

For all examples, we will be using a modest 8% average return.

👇Let’s run some numbers 👇
Let’s say you waited until 35 to start investing.

You’ve got $5,000 ready to go & you’re going to contribute $100/month.

By the time you hit “retirement age” (65)

You’ll have $203,714 and only $36,00 of it will be your contributions!

The other $162,714 is your money working!
You’ve done a good job, but that’s not enough to retire on.

Let’s add another $100/month.

So, $5,000 initial Investment with $200/month added.

Now you’ve got $352,750 with only $72,000 in contributions and $275,750 in growth!

But we’re still not there. Let’s start at 30.
You start 5 years earlier with you $5,000 Investment and $200/month.

You’ll have $540,238 and only $84,000 will be your contribution.

You’ll have $451,238 in growth alone.

Let’s go one step further, and this one is the dreaded step.

You’re working until 70.
You invest $5,000 at 30.

You add $200/month.

You work until 70.

You have $819,567 and only contributed $96,000 of it.

The other $718,567 is growth.
This thread isn’t showing you the guaranteed path to retirement.

It’s just showing you the reality most folks live in.

It also stresses the importance of starting as early as possible and contributing more if you can.
I hope this provides some actionable info for all my followers regardless of age.

For the older ones, this should light a fire under you.

For the younger ones, I hope this kickstarts some early investing.

Either way, the name of the game is getting in early and often.
