Not saying FSU's OL was good. It was not. But QB was hit on 26.4% of dropbacks, which was actually less than Syracuse, Miami, Wake, Duke or Notre Dame and barely worse than UNC. Avg 1.7 yds/rush before contact - again, not great - but better than Clemson, Duke, Cuse or Wake.

James Blackman was terrible under pressure: 5-of-13 for 46 yards and a pick.

But after the first quarter, he was also terrible NOT under pressure: 11-for-21 for 76 yards, no TDs.

Now it’s also worth noting that the O-line got worse as the game progressed. Pressure rate after 1st quarter was 38.1%.

For reference, GT hasn’t had a full game w/that high a pressure rate vs a P5 opponent since 2017.
