1. Mitch Trubisky deserves a ton of credit.
Everything #Bears fans feared happened in the first 3 quarters of that game.
Bad decisions. Bad accuracy. Lost in the face of pressure. Failure to finish drives.
Could've easily just folded his tent.
Instead, he kept battling.

2. People will look at his throw to Anthony Miller as the play of the game.
Understandably so.
However, don't overlook the terrific back-to-back plays he made on the previous drive.
Avoiding a blitz to find Graham for a big gain. Then a tough rollout TD throw to Wims. #Bears

3. Cordarrelle Patterson is the living embodiment of an offensive weapon.
It doesn't matter where you put him. He'll make things happen.
19 yards rushing on 4 carries
12-yard catch for a 1st down
45-yard kick return that set up their first TD of the 4th quarter.

4. David Montgomery suffered a nasty-looking groin injury just over two weeks ago.
Then on Sunday he ran 13 times for 64 yards and made a 10-yard catch.
Are we sure this guy isn't the actual Wolverine?

5. Juan Castillo deserves mondo credit for the work he's done.
No minicamps. No OTAs. No offseason.
Under those conditions he still got practically the same group of offensive linemen to deliver 149 yards rush, just 1 sack, and zero penalties.

6. It's fair to wonder if the lack of a true offseason impacted the #Bears defense more than anybody expected.
The lack of juice the front seven showed was quite surprising.
Guys looked slow.
That extended time away from Halas Hall may have had a lot to do with that.

7. Nobody wanted to admit how much the #Bears would miss Eddie Goldman.
Sadly it was always going to be a thing.
Replacing guys like that are so difficult.
Adrian Peterson running through them for 93 yards on Sunday shows just what life could be like without the big NT.

8. Kyle Fuller now has 11 INTs in his last 33 games.
Four of them had a direct impact on a #Bears victory in a tight game.
2018 at Lions
2018 vs. Rams
2019 at Broncos
2020 at Lions
He's played all 16 games in 5 of his 6 seasons as an NFL pro.
He deserves more respect.

9. Consider this.
Jaylon Johnson had no minicamps or OTAs.
Didn't get a lot of reps early in camp.
Won the starting CB job anyway.
Went out in his first game, deflected a ball that led to a game-changing INT.
Then knocked away the final pass to seal it.
Impressive. #Bears

10. Darnell Mooney caught all three passes that came his way and a good chunk of his 38 yards were after the catch.
Cole Kmet would've had a touchdown too if Trubisky had thrown him a better ball.
Quite a debut for the #Bears 2020 draft class.

11. The #Bears should've lost that game.
They played awful in every phase for 45 minutes.
There is no way they'll get away with that 15 more times.
Many improvements are needed.
Still, the fact they won anyway makes you wonder how good they can be if they put it together.

12. It went unnoticed in all the insanity but Cairo Santos was a perfect 5-of-5 on all of his kicks on Sunday.
Should Eddy Pineiro be nervous?
