Thread: My thoughts on the movie Cuties.

To be honest, I’m not surprised that a movie like Cuties exists in our current society. Nor am I surprised that there are people supporting it. Instead, I’m surprised there are people who are shocked that a movie like this can exist in the first place.

We have been removing morality from the fabric of our society at an unprecedented pace this last decade or so.

A whole generation has been raised hearing terms like “Love conquers all” “Love whoever you want” “Do whatever makes you happy” constantly drummed into their ears by predominantly western corporations. There’s absolutely no running away from the degeneracy they promote.

Guess what? Not everything that makes someone happy is good. Some people are sick, in the case of Cuties, they are pedophiles. There are people who find joy in murder, theft, rape etc. It makes them happy.

The whole “Who am I to judge” and “As long as it makes you happy....” narrative is destroying us. It’s rotten narcissism at its core. It’s absolutely disgusting. It’s sickening.

How many times have we seen a viral video where someone is being beaten up and onlookers are doing nothing? It’s simple. Why should they care? It’s not effecting them, the abuser could be doing what makes them happy. Besides, who are they to judge? See how twisted it becomes?

Gay marriage is now legalized in 29 countries. When Obama was trying to legalize it in the US, a lot of people who were against it and rightly so said that it will create a dangerous slippery slope. When you allow one degeneracy, another follows. It’s inevitable.

As Dostoevsky famously said “If there is no God, everything is permitted” no quote reflects the current state of society more accurately. And no movie better reflects our current society than Cuties. End of thread.
