1/ I'll be on monk mode starting tonight up to Sunday.

Leaving you this thread of Roam-fu threads as I go off the grid.

I. Bringing Ideas to Reality
II. Fabricating Serendipity
III. Teaching
IV. Zettelkasten
I. USING ROAM TO BRING IDEAS TO REALITY

Zettelkasten brought be to Roam. But as I used it, what came naturally was bringing ideas to reality. Turns out I belong to the militant arm of the Roaman empire. My zettels want to get out of their kastens ASAP. https://twitter.com/Roamfu/status/1277509784258969601
The systematic way of bringing ideas to reality is called Project Management. Most PM software focus on coordinating work. The work of PM prior to this is essentially reimagining reality and planning how to achieve that new reality.
Prior to Roam, my software for project conceptualization and planning were notes, mindmaps and spreadsheets. Software designed for thinking can certainly assist in reimagining reality and planning. https://twitter.com/Roamfu/status/1283386164217409536
Before managing other people in your project team, you have to manage yourself. Most task management systems miss out on that powerful animal in you. https://twitter.com/Roamfu/status/1278321043623555072
II. FABRICATING SERENDIPITY

I've ran 3 iterations of an experiment to fabricate serendipity among Roam users. This thread explains it. https://twitter.com/Roamfu/status/1294261146665381888
Here's what I've learned from those three iterations: https://twitter.com/Roamfu/status/1303968879119654917
III. TEACHING

3 of my favorite questions are on teaching https://twitter.com/Roamfu/status/1298976180784095232
I think the BASB folks are in the forefront of teaching in this new world https://twitter.com/Roamfu/status/1297374357686300672
If you teach with Roam, you'd also want to listen to @calhistorian https://twitter.com/Roamfu/status/1305326308700823552
Teaching has been on my mind as I develop my PM training. https://twitter.com/Roamfu/status/1281915199281172480
IV. ZETTELKASTEN

This is where Roam-fu began https://twitter.com/kcorazo/status/1247260599760736256
I'm in the middle of a MSc so academic Roaming is still very central to my usage. Twitter is a secret weapon for academics. http://accessiblegenomics.org  couldn't have happened without Twitter. https://twitter.com/kcorazo/status/1252669427125895169
I still dream of building a Zettelkasten. When I do, I know who I want to learn from. https://twitter.com/kcorazo/status/1255296825566920705
