~Thread regarding bratting~

(1) Let's discuss "bratting" for a moment. I recently watched a discussion happen where a male had said, "I just don't think it would do anything for me to see a grown woman stomping her feet, pouting with her arms crossed." I had to laugh a bit but

(2) maybe there are genuine misconceptions about this quality that exists in some submissives. Just as every D/s relationship is unique, so is the brat. Yes, that above behavior is common to some "littles". I'm not a little. Not every sub is a little. Not every sub is a slave.

(3) Bratting, here at the Acres is a mix of many things. These things include expertly placed eyerolls and shoulder shrugs during conversations, sending teasing video clips and pictures to him while he is working, and smartass comments that go above and beyond my normal level

(4) of sarcastic smartass. How much each sub can get away with depends on their unique relationship and of course, the Dom's reactiveness to bratting. Nothing will ever get passed M here and I will pay, eventually, for all the bratting that has occurred since our last session.

(5) Some Dom's are more accepting of bratting and don't act upon this quality in the form of punishments, but more for fun in their relationship. This also plays a part in why a sub chooses to brat. They might be craving a punishment, they might be stressed over things happening

(6) in their lives, or they might just be trying to test the patience of their Dom to see how much they can get away with. Regardless, bratting style is unique to each sub, just as every D/s relationship is unique.
