A few tweets ages ago earned me the ire of some anti-shippers. While muting the initial handful is satisfying it's still ongoing, for my moots as well. So I'm just gonna thread this out & annoy the crazies who were dropped on their heads as infants.

If you think about it,shippers are basically people who spend a good part of their day wishing for/imagining the happiness of other people.Literally,their joy is abt SOMEONE ELSE finding joy. In a self-absorbed world,that's a beautiful thing. To hate it is tragic on many levels.
You call it toxic. You use that term a lot. But toxic is RELATIVE. To you, shipper statements are annoying. To me your lack of a sense of humor, the godlike worship of your idol and the imposition of your definition of "proper fan behavior" is annoying. Baffling. Toxic.
The difference between us is-- I don't mind you at all. I truly DGF. So why can't you leave shipper content for shippers alone? You keep giving unsolicited reactions to shipper content w/ varying degrees of hostility from disdain to hatred --I mean seriously. WDYGF?! 
I've never gone to a non-ship/anti-ship acct & made negative comments. I've never minded or given attention to retweeted anti-ship posts. And I don't butt in on threads with people I don't share anything in common with. You should try it sometime.
Because for someone who hates shippers so much, you spend an awful lot of time on the goddam ship. Shippers don't start anything. Shippers by default only care about shipping. They stay in their lanes UNTIL they're provoked.
You come into their playground like a bully, drag them to your space by displaying their ship content intended for OTHER SHIPPERS, call them all sorts of names & expect them to shut up. You throw a punch and expect not to get your nose bloodied? Are you from Mars?
Shippers annoy you. I get it. Get over it. No one is forcing you to get on board. You say it's delusion? That's perfectly fine. You can talk about how delusional shippers are w/ your like-minded friends. We. Don't. Care. About. You. So. Why. Do. You. Care. About. Us?
Why do you want US to care about what YOU think? Why do you go through the effort of letting a shipper know what's in your head-- when literally no one is asking?

See. For every "Please get married & have babies!" comment that ticks you off, is a shipper who's eyes hurt from scrolling through the heart emoji showers from fans who want to be wives. But we don't mind. Go ahead! We can all be happy in our ships, even if yours star you.
And even if that's not fair, even if OIMC doesn't apply to you--the point is don't crash a party you're not invited to,
