In episode 4 of season 2, the tv show depicts Homelander as painted on the side of a barn, presumably by a farmer who has substituted the Confederate flag, which "reveals" Homelander (America) to be racist.

This also kind of mocks the rural American cultural tradition of painting valued things on barns.

I'm really disappointed that entertainment, especially the superhero genre, has taken this Leftist turn.

I grew up reading #superherocomics and it was great to see #IronMan in 2008, or for that matter #XMen in 2000, but now the stories are heavy-handed metaphors for the Left's false claim of "systemic racism" and "America is a villain." Very disappointing.
