Following my most recent experience of it (10 minutes ago) It's time we cleared something up once and for all.

Q. Straight men: when you catcall women (& girls) out and about, minding their own business, what exactly do you expect to happen?

And before you all get in my replies with 'not all men' - I know, I'm aware, but take a second to read the account @EverydaySexism, & then speak to the women in your life & see what examples they have of this, & then come back & tell me if you think it's a tiny minority of men

And no, we don't it as 'a compliment'. It's creepy. It's weird. I'm not going to buy my coffee so that you have something nice to look at.

And finally, what really pissed me off is that this mornings' guy was right up in my face when he did it. Not only is there a global pandemic, but he was smoking, so I got a nice lung full of second hand smoke, hopefully without a side order of coughy coughy kill kill.
