+ obvsly OCD is exacerbated as you get more stressed/anxious &depressed. Which you know, makes you less productive, fall behind more on deadlines & work, & have an even harder time falling asleep etc. it's a vicious cycle.
and of course living in a fascist late capitalist state during a pandemic, recession and climate crisis which said fascist 'let's privatise everything' governments continue to ignore makes all this never go away. +
W OCD you need a specialist therapist. Esplly if yours is disturbing intrusive thoughts like my OCD. A therapist who doesn't get OCD can push you into a month long breakdown--which you can't afford as someone who has to pay rent/estranged from fam. This has happened to me
Great specialist therapists are hella expensive & hella booked. And therapy itself with a 'serious' 'disorder' can be extremely difficult even when it's going 'well'. Meds don't agree w everyone. I've spent about 1 and a half years of my life (different yrs) zombie'd bc of meds.
Anyway idk what the point of this thread was. I'm SO tired all the time AND I'm STILL better off than the majority of people in our country with psychosocial disabilities (a 'fun' series I've been reporting on). I HATE it here.
